We are seeking an Organ Preservationist to evaluate potential donors, coordinate clinical care, and maximize donor opportunities through recovery, preservation, and perfusion of organs and tissues for transplantation or research. The role requires surgical expertise, precision, and teamwork in fast-paced, sensitive environments.

Reports to the Manager of Surgical Services. Responsibilities include aseptic organ preservation, kidney perfusion, assisting OR prep, maintaining equipment, education

Formación

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program required.
• Two or more years OR experience with sterile technique.
• Experience in organ/tissue recovery strongly desired.
• On-call experience preferred and ability to travel regionally.
• Certified Transplant Preservationist credential required within 24 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform aseptic organ preservation and kidney perfusion per policy.
• Assist hospital staff with OR preparation for organ recovery.
• Maintain preservation supplies and equipment in good order.
• Educate OR staff through in-services and meetings.
• Support donor transfers and compliance with regulations.
