Job summary

Regency Hermiston in Oregon is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide individualized care to residents and support medication administration under physician direction. You will perform vitals, assist with mobility, grooming, and activities of daily living, ensure care plans are followed, and document observations while maintaining safety and infection-control procedures.

This full-time role requires Oregon CMA licensure, a compassionate team focus, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Possess a CMA certification in the state of employment.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population.
• Communicate and interact tactfully with others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper dosage/distribution and instruct residents on medication use per physician.
• Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift/move residents using proper body mechanics.
• Attend to residents' needs including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, and mobility support.
• Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with changes and observations.
• Document care in keeping with department policies.
