Job summary

The Container Store is seeking an Order Specialist in Alpharetta to manage daily customer order processing and stockroom organization. You will work closely with the General Manager and Store Managers to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time, while maintaining a neat stockroom.

You will engage with customers to resolve order issues, support curbside pickup and local delivery, and contribute to a positive customer experience through efficient order processing and teamwork.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred
• 2-5 years inventory experience preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills under pressure
• Proven communication and coaching skills
• Strategic, objective decision-making for customers and company
• Retail industry adaptability and scheduling flexibility
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Pulls and prepares customer orders for pickup
• Ensures daily order quantity checks to meet curbside pickup and local delivery demand
• Executes daily tasks to complete all orders on time
• Communicates with customers through resolution of order issues
• Manages stockroom to keep it organized for selling and visual displays
• Adheres to time expectations with accuracy and pace
• Maintains Elfa product area and stock locations
• Performs daily locations audits on customer orders
• Updates staging locations and Elfa pull sequence
• Reviews Product Not Arriving as Expected reports and acts
• Develops a strong, efficient order processing team
• Holds self and staff accountable for sales goals
• Leads the sales floor and partners with managers
• Engages with customers to solve organizational challenges
