Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Birmingham, AL is seeking hard-working Order Selectors for our Perishables/Frozen Foods team. The role is 2nd shift, 3:00pm until finish, with weekend work as part of a 5-day schedule. Pay is $19.00 per hour and the position is full-time, temporary.

You will manage inventory and order status, load boxes onto pallets, and communicate with vendors. The ideal candidate can stand long periods, handle cold environments, and work quickly in a fast-paced, detail-focused

Qualifications

• Stand for long periods, perform repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, twisting.
• Ability to work under a production quota system.
• Freezer selectors must be able to pull an average of 185 cases per hour by the end of their 90 day probation period.
• Extremely fast-paced, physically demanding job.
• Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, order status, and raw material quantity based on seasonal trends and other sales factors.
• Loading boxes onto pallets to be shipped out.
• Maintain all required records and reports.
• Communicate with vendors regarding any problems or issues with materials, delivery status, etc.
