Job summary

Boar’s Head Brand in New Castle, IN is seeking a warehouse associate to move pallets from the storage area to the selection area and prepare orders for checkout. You will scan-pick customer orders, operate scanners, forklifts, hand trucks, and other handling equipment under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of similar experience. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and following GMPs, SOPs, and plant rules to ensure safe, efficient

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move product from Storage Area to the Selection Area.
• Scan and move product from a storage pallet to a Customer Order Pallet.
• Operate scanner, forklift, hand truck, and/or pallet jacket.
• Work closely with and under the direction of the Checker to insure prompt and accurate placement of pallets being checked.
• Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with all associates, coworkers, and upper management.
• Adapt to other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
• Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, Plant Rules and Policies.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Strive to satisfy internal and external customers.
• Keep work area clean.
• Other duties may be assigned.
