Job summary

Boar’s Head Brand is seeking a warehouse associate in Groveport, OH to support order processing and shipping/receiving in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will work under a lead, supervisor, or manager with minimal supervision, following GMPs and SOPs to ensure accurate and safe handling of products from dock to dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Lead.
• Walk, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly; may lift more than 100 lbs occasionally.
• Work in cold, wet, or humid conditions and follow GMPs and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as directed by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
• Keep pace with the work area and team.
• Work as a team to meet product specifications safely and efficiently.
• Maintain positive relations with associates and management.
• Handle Shipping/Receiving in the Dock Area.
• Operate Fork Lift.
• Assist other departments as needed by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, Rules and Policies.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Aim to satisfy internal and external customers.
• Keep work area clean.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
• Must keep pace with work area and team.
• Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
• Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with all associates, coworkers and upper management.
• Shipping/Receiving in Dock Area.
• Operate Fork Lift.
• Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
• Must follow company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Rules and Policies.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Strives to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
