Job summary

Arlon Graphics, LLC in California is seeking a reliable Warehouse Order Picker to help transfer packed finished product to the warehouse, pick orders from stock, and verify part numbers and lot IDs for accurate shipment.

You will use RF scanners, operate a stand-up forklift and a banding machine, and ensure safety and accuracy while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of order picking experience or equivalent.
• Stand up reach truck and cherry picker experience required.
• RF scanner experience required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials on racks according to predefined sequence.
• Pick and assemble customer orders from stock using picking tickets and RF scanner.
• Load picked rolls onto pallets or convey to shipping department.
• Operate banding machine to secure loads for transit.
• Use RF barcode scanner and workstation to transact inventory and verify accuracy.
• Operate the stretch wrap machine.

Summary/Objective:

Transfer of packed finished product to the warehouse in a timely manner. Pick orders and validate part numbers and lot identification numbers to ship.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or assigned locations.
2. Pick and assembles customer orders from stock, accurately against picking tickets using an RF Scanner.
3. Load picked rolls onto pallets or convey to the shipping department.
4. Must use banding machine to safely secure the load for transit.
5. Use RF Barcode Scanner and workstation to make inventory transactions. Is able to validate reports and correct picking errors for 100% accuracy before shipment.
6. Operate the stretch wrap machine.

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of previous order picking experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Stand up reach truck and Order/ Cherry Picker experience required.
• RF Barcode Scanner experience required.

Language Skills

Must be able to follow instructions and communicate clearly (verbal and written) in the English language, in support of safety and business needs.

Mathematical Skills

Must be able to do basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction and multiplication. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to interface with other departments and employees. Ability to follow written Quality Safety Process (QSP) and Standard Operator Procedures (SOP) that apply to the job requirement. Ability to use rulers and common measuring devises. Must be able to operate a hand truck and a forklift. Meets job requirements while maintaining a high level of productivity, safety, service and accuracy within the written and on-the-job training of standard operating procedures.
