Job summary

Boar’s Head Brand is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure orders are processed according to our customer service standards and to verify weights on pallets. You will count product, verify pallet conditions, and ensure proper labeling and documentation in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires cooperation with the plant team and clear communication with leads and supervisors, plus maintaining a clean, safe workstation and accuracy in data processing and packaging details.

Qualifications

• Team player with initiative and ability to work with others in a plant setting.
• Ability to cooperate with other workers throughout the plant.
• Ability to communicate with management, supervision and leads.
• Experience in computer data processing or data entry.
• Some knowledge of packaging material weights and product descriptions.
• Knowledge of product is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assuring Weight is within allowed tolerance on all pallets/orders.
• Rejecting pallets/orders that do not meet specifications.
• Counting product/cases per pallet physically and noting quantities on the packing slip.
• Responsible for making sure that all pallets are in acceptable condition.
• Ensuring that all pallets/orders are properly labeled and accompanied with all the required documentation.
• Communicating all product shortages to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Keeping workstation in a clean and safe condition.
• Other duties as assigned.
