Job summary

The Hillman Group in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Order Processor to pick and pack customer orders in a high-volume zone picking station.

You will use a hand-held RF scanner to determine order requirements, pull the correct product, and pack it into appropriate boxes, while meeting daily productivity and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized work area and report issues to the supervisor as needed to support safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Related experience with RF scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Essential Job Functions *

• Uses a hand scanner to determine order requirements
• Pulls the correct product from the stock area and packs it into the appropriate boxes
• Meets required daily productivity standards for lines picked per hour
• Ensure that work meets quality standards
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to the manager
• Maintains a current knowledge of operating procedures and company products
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment
