Job summary

WAI Global Distribution Center in Southaven, MS seeks an Order Picker to support outbound logistics. You will pick, verify, pack, and ship orders using RF devices and forklifts to meet exact customer specifications.

Shift is 2nd shift (1:45pm–10:15pm). Benefits include PTO, holidays, advancement opportunities, a welcoming environment, and performance bonuses such as attendance and referral rewards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 2 years experience or equivalent
• Experience operating material handling equipment – forklift, pallet jack, reach truck
• Strong problem-solving abilities; follow instructions
• Detail-oriented; multitask; team-oriented
• Reads and interprets safety rules and manuals; good verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Pack and label items correctly
• Load items safely onto equipment
• Read stage plans and SOPs or WI
• Operate RF devices, label machines, scales, and powered equipment
• Use RF to pick and transfer materials to staging areas
• Conduct quality inspections for part numbers and quantities
• Ensure Pallet Manifest accuracy
• Inspect equipment and materials for defects
• Tag containers with identifying info
• Assist in root-cause analysis of shipping discrepancies
• Cross-train and collaborate to boost productivity
• Follow safety protocols and 5S daily
• Undertake extra duties as directed by management
