Job summary

WAI Distribution Center in Southaven, MS is seeking an Order Picker for 2nd shift (3:45 PM–10:15 PM). You will pick, verify, pack, and ship orders with forklift involvement and RF devices to meet customer specs. Join a dynamic team focused on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include reading pick lists, following SOPs, and maintaining quality and Pallet Manifest records. Eligible candidates should have forklift experience and be detail-oriented with good communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2 years' experience preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, reach truck).
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper packing and labeling of items.
• Safely load items onto equipment.
• Read pick lists and SOPs or WI.
• Operate RF devices and powered equipment (forklifts, pickers, pallet jacks).
• Use RF devices to pick and transfer materials to staging areas.
• Verify correct part numbers and quantities and labeling.
• Maintain Pallet Manifest documentation accuracy.
• Inspect equipment and materials for issues or defects.
• Support cross-training to boost team productivity.
• Follow 5S safety and cleanliness practices.
