Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an experienced Order Picker for our Jeffersonville, IN facility. This role operates in a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime and weekend work as needed.

You will pick orders, verify stock, and maintain inventory records to support our production and distribution processes. To succeed, you should be able to read, write, and communicate in English; operate ring scanners and powered equipment; and work safely at heights as required.

Qualifications

• Experience using ring scanners and manual equipment for picking orders.
• Willingness to train on and operate turret trucks.
• Ability to read, count accurately and perform basic math.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Your Shift:

1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime and weekends as required.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for an experienced Order Picker to join our Jeffersonville, IN, facility.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders
• Perform quality checks
• Verify stock availability and stock shelves
• Repackage orders as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Maintain accurate records related to orders and inventory

You Must Have:

• Experience using a ring scanner, manual equipment, and powered material-handling equipment, such as an order picker or lift
• Willingness to train on and operate a turret truck
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet
• Ability to read, count accurately, and perform basic math
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while supporting department goals
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to obtain and maintain the certifications required to operate powered equipment

Requirements Within This Position:

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including printed materials
• Frequently required to move throughout the facility
• Regularly required to lift, push, pull, or carry 50 pounds or more

Compensation

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, certifications, professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or performs the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package.
