Job summary

Taylor Corporation is hiring an Order Picker to support our growing distribution operations. You will ensure accuracy of picking customer orders, perform quality checks, verify stock, repack orders, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Shift is 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be able to operate ring scanners and power equipment, read and count accurately, and work independently in a fast-paced setting while collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use a ring scanner and powered equipment.
• Turret Lift certification is required.
• Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math.
• Detail oriented with ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Your Shift

3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday

You Must Have

• Must be able to use a ring scanner, manual equipment and powered material handling equipment (i.e. order picker or lift).
• Must be certified to use a Turret Lift.
• Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment where you maintain and enhance department goals.
• Effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and able to multi task.
• Certifications required for use of powered equipment.

Requirements within this position

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
• Frequently required to move inside the facility.
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

Compensation

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18.50. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
