Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Shipping Clerk to perform order check-in, packing, labeling, and shipment preparation on a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift. DailyPay is available, and you’ll use PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents.

This role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; it includes lifting up to 25 lbs and following safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements and perform other duties as assigned.

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Shipping Clerk in Jeffersonville, IN .

Work Authorization

Your Responsibilities

• Perform quality control review of each order.
• Check in orders.
• Aggregate and package orders for shipment via parcel and LTL carriers.
• Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels.
• Maintain a clean work environment and equipment needed to ship orders on time.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
• Complete shipping reports.

Your Shift - Monday through Friday - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

You Must Have

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.

Requirements Within This Position

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operate machinery and handle products, including print materials.
• Frequently move throughout the facility.
• Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25 pounds or more.

We Would Also Prefer

• Pick/Pack experience.
• Experience using UPS and FedEx software.

Compensation

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 per hour . The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, certifications, professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or performs the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package.
