Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is seeking an Order Manager for a hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC or Woodridge, IL. You will provide internal and external sales support and manage orders end-to-end including entry, backlog, and delivery tracking.

Collaborate with sales, manufacturing reps, purchasing, credit and legal to resolve issues, communicate order status and lead times, and drive continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer support or supply chain.
• Relocation is not available; candidate must reside within a 50 miles radius of Raleigh, NC or Woodridge, IL to be considered.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position (no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide general order management to include; entry, promised date compliance, backlog management, coordination of material shipments, on time delivery, order expediting, and status/tracking of orders.
• Collaborate with sales, Eaton manufacturer representatives, Eaton business partners, purchasing, credit, and legal departments to drive order issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Proactively communicate with customers about order verification, status, pricing and shipment status; coordinate with operations to verify lead times and delivery needs.
• Challenge cross functional processes for continued business improvement.
• Proactively run and analyze reports to determine orders to be released to meet revenue numbers and customer demand.
• Manage order backlog to ensure forecast accuracy for the business unit.
• Assist with the facilitation of Return Material Authorization, credit, and re-bill processes.
