Job summary

Garmin is hiring a full-time Order Management Account Representative 1 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will manage day-to-day contact with OEM and Dealer accounts, oversee orders through Oracle, and coordinate with Production, Sales, Shipping and Finance to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes accurate communication, proactive problem solving, and effective collaboration across departments to meet customer expectations and contract guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a fast-paced account or project management/customer service environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Experience working with inter-departmental teams to define processes and resolve issues.
• Problem-solving with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the order process and collaborate with Order Analysts, Production, Sales, Shipping, and others to ensure successful delivery.
• Enter orders into Oracle via EDI, DRC, or manual entry and resolve variances with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat and ensure timely processing of requests.
• Inform customers of prices, shipping dates, inventory, delays, and other updates.
• Coordinate inter-departmental actions to address inquiries and issues promptly.
• Submit shipping discrepancy forms for damages or missed deliveries and manage RMAs and credits as needed.
• Facilitate payments and coordinate with Finance when investigations are required.
• Partner with Garmin Sales staff to meet customer expectations and maintain contract compliance.
• Prepare program progress summaries and reports for management and other stakeholders.
• Calculate claim or rebate amounts for specified accounts.
