Rohde & Schwarz in the Maryland area seeks a detail-oriented Order Management professional to process customer orders, coordinate with internal teams and our Global HQ in Germany, and drive continuous process improvements.

Required are a BA/BS in a related field, SAP familiarity, and strong Excel skills, plus 3+ years in customer service. This hybrid role offers flexibility and growth within a global technology company.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Operations, or other relevant field.
• Familiarity with SAP or other major ERP system a plus.
• 3+ years' experience in a customer service role.
• Understanding of basic back office operations as well as basic knowledge of finance related to AR and AP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and basic formulas).
• Strong communication skills via email and phone.
• Extremely detail oriented and effective organizational skills.
• Ability to self-manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to root cause issues.
• Process oriented with interest in continuous improvement and learning.

Responsabilités

• Process a wide variety of customer orders utilizing various methods and meeting all requirements.
• Nontechnical Support of internal and external customers in regards to order fulfillment and order tracking.
• Coordinate with counterparts in Germany (Global HQ) on delivery schedules, pricing, and order requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate the order process, achieve joint goals, and solve problems related to order processing. These teams include Finance, Service, Contracts, Collections, and others.
• Take ownership of complete order cycle, ensure quality and efficiency through the entire process.
• Special projects related to order processing and general lean process improvements
