Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz USA in Columbia, MD seeks a Service Order Management Supervisor to lead a government-focused service order team. You will oversee daily operations, ensure contracts are executed accurately, and drive continuous improvement for faster, compliant service delivery.

The role requires senior knowledge of DoD procurement processes, strong leadership, and collaboration with contracts, finance, and program teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Operations, or Equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in service order management, logistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of CAV, PIEE, DCMA systems and related DoD processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily service order management activities for government and public sector contracts.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of service order coordinators and specialists.
• Ensure all service orders are processed accurately and in contract compliance.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and contractual deliverables.
• Review and validate order documentation, pricing, funding approvals, and billing readiness.
• Coordinate with contracts, finance, logistics, procurement, and program management teams.
• Maintain compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency requirements.
• Support audits, reporting and documentation retention standards.
• Analyze workflow trends and implement process improvements.
• Manage escalations and support staffing and onboarding.
