Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking an Order Manager. This hybrid role can be located in Woodridge, IL or Raleigh, NC and involves providing internal and external sales support, managing orders entry, backlog, and delivering a positive customer experience.

You will collaborate with sales, purchasing, credit, and legal to resolve order issues, monitor lead times, coordinate shipments, and drive process improvements while ensuring forecast accuracy and handling returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer support, or supply chain experience.
• Relocation is not available. Candidate must reside within a 50 mile radius of Raleigh, NC or Woodridge, IL.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or related visa programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide general order management including order entry, promised date compliance, backlog management, and status tracking.
• Collaborate with sales, Eaton representatives, purchasing, credit, and legal to resolve order issues and meet customer needs.
• Proactively communicate with customers about order verification, status, pricing and shipment status; coordinate with operations on lead times and schedules.
• Drive cross-functional process improvements to enable continued business performance.
• Run and analyze reports to determine orders to release to meet revenue and demand.
• Manage order backlog to improve forecast accuracy for the business unit.
• Assist with Return Material Authorization, credit, and re-bill processes.
