Position Overview: The Order Management Specialist will handle internal and external customer care (e.g., technical support, order assistance, payment-related inquiries) and coordinate with relevant functions to ensure complete case ownership in Pinetops, NC. This role supports the $1B ELIP US region by providing reliable financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts to aid regional leadership decision-making. It contributes to optimizing the value chain and improving performance sustainably, with a remote work model.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Process Optimization: Drive process improvements aligned with global fast close procedures, utilizing SAP Torque and adapting to new applications to enhance automation and efficiency.
2. Financial Reporting: Establish and oversee processes and tools to provide transparent financial results, ensuring data quality and compliance with ABB standards. Understand key financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
3. Internal Controls and Compliance: Support US region compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), US GAAP, and ABB policies, leading initiatives as needed.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison with manufacturing facilities and distribution centers, promoting process harmonization and collaboration with sales, marketing, and product management teams.
5. OHS and Integrity: Ensure a safe working environment, support continuous HSE improvements, and uphold ABB values and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, or internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and internal controls.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with SAP Torque, Power BI, TM1, and similar tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Legal authorization to work in the US for ABB.
