Job description

Job Description: As a Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising Salesforce order management processes for our client's online web store. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, configure Salesforce OMS to meet their needs, and ensure seamless integration with other Salesforce clouds and third-party systems. Your expertise in Salesforce OMS and related technologies will be essential to delivering efficient and scalable order management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the implementation and configuration of Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) to support clients' order processing, fulfillment, payment and inventory management needs.
  2. Gather and analyse business requirements to design tailored OMS solutions that align with clients' operational workflows.
  3. Configure Salesforce OMS, including order flows, fulfilment processes, inventory management, and payment processing.
  4. Integrate Salesforce OMS with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud) and third-party systems (e.g., ERP, payment gateways, shipping providers).
  5. Develop and execute test plans to validate OMS functionality, ensuring a seamless and error-free order management process.
  6. Provide training and support to clients' end-users and internal teams on Salesforce OMS features and best practices.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce OMS features, updates, and industry best practices to provide expert guidance to clients.
Certifications:
  1. Salesforce Accredited Order Management Administrator
  2. Salesforce Accredited B2B Commerce Administrator
  3. Salesforce Certified Administrator
  4. [Nice to have] Salesforce Accredited B2B Commerce Developer
  5. [Nice to have] Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as a Salesforce Consultant with a focus on Salesforce Order Management System (OMS).
  2. Strong understanding of order management processes, including order capture, fulfilment, inventory management, and returns.
  3. Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce OMS, including flows, fulfilment orders, inventory management, and payments.
  4. Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Commerce Cloud.
  5. Experience with integrating Salesforce OMS with external systems (e.g., ERP, payment gateways) using APIs and middleware.
  6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
  7. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
