Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY is seeking an Intern in Order Management to support backlog monitoring, RMA processing, and shipping coordination. You will gain hands-on experience with cross-functional collaboration to meet customer requirements.

The role includes updating MRP systems, processing orders, and maintaining delivery schedules, with a 9/80 schedule and every-other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Product Management, Sales, Contracts and Customers as needed to facilitate Ship/Bill Non-Project Orders.
• Monitor Backlog, Open Commitments and Return Material reports.
• Process RMA’s (Return Material Authorizations), Debits, Credits, and Restocking fees.
• Meet established delivery requirements and facilitate coordination with Customer if needed.
• Confirm shipping terms align with purchase order; coordinate to adjust when needed.
• Update On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Customer Request Date (CRD) within the MRP system.

As part of a dynamic organization, this role will provide hands‑on experience with backlog monitoring, return material authorization processing,shippingand delivery coordination, MRP system updates, and cross-functional collaboration to support ship/bill non-project orders and meet customer requirements.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate with Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Product Management, Sales,ContractsandCustomers as needed tofacilitatethe following as part of the Order Management process and will focus on our Ship/Bill Non-Project Orders.
• MonitorBacklog, Open Commitments and Return Material reports

• Meet established delivery requirements andfacilitatecoordination with Customer if needed

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, t the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $18.50/hr - $36.50/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
