Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a highly motivated Intern to support Central Sales in Rochester, NY. The role focuses on assisting with quotes, RFQs, and proposal efforts while ensuring accurate pricing, delivery schedules, and a smooth customer experience.

The successful candidate is pursuing a degree in Finance, Management, Business, Economics, or Supply Chain, and will gain hands-on exposure to sales operations and international demonstrations as needed.

• Provide quotes/responses/proformas on RFQs.
• Review quotes for technical configuration compatibility with attention to part no. obsolescence.

• Ensure all quotes and opportunities are successfully maintained with pricing and shipping date information from inception to booking.
• Provide technical support/answers to customers and dealers' technical requests.

Job Description

L3Harris is seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated intern to support key sales activities and drive operational excellence across the organization. This role plays an essential part in managing quoting, coordinating technical requirements, supporting proposal efforts, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Essential Functions:

• Provide quotes/responses/proformas on Request for Quotes ( RFQs ) .
• Review all quotes for technical configuration compatibility with attention to part no. obsolescence.
• Assist program manager on large RFQ's/proposal efforts.
• Ensure all quotes and opportunities are successfully maintained with pricing and shipping date information from inception to booking.
• Provide technical support/answers to customers and dealers technical requests.
• Product demonstration lead for international demonstrations .
• Assist in hosting customers visiting Rochester for Sales and Program efforts.
• Obtain delivery schedule requests from Bill and Hold ( B&P ) for contractual delivery obligations

Some things to include if needed / depending on the role:

• Travel requirements with an estimated % or quantitative amount
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to complete physical tasks

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Management, Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or related field

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $18.50/hr - $36.50/hr . This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
