Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an Order Fulfillment Technician for a part-time role to support deployment of payment technology solutions. You will handle picking, packing, shipping, and configuring POS devices and peripherals.

You will perform QA testing, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate with operations, product, and support teams to ensure successful customer deployments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in technology deployment, IT support, fulfillment operations, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with payment technology, merchant services, or retail technology deployments is a plus.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, device connectivity, or remote troubleshooting.
• Experience with inventory systems or platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end fulfillment and deployment activities, including picking, packing, shipping, and preparing payment technology solutions for customer delivery.
• Configure, stage, and validate POS devices, payment terminals, and peripherals, including imaging systems, installing software, and setting up customer-specific applications.
• Perform quality assurance testing and troubleshooting to ensure all hardware, software, and connectivity components are fully functional prior to shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and ensure compliance with asset tracking and inventory control processes.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, product, implementation, and support teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure successful customer deployments.
