Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School / GED.
• Experience: 1–3 years.
• Licensure: Board Licensed and/or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enters customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications into the order entry system.
• Verifies and enters physician information into the system.
• Enters new medication orders and refills.
• Triages, correlates and distributes orders from document imaging software.
• Receives and responds to customer complaints and/or issues.
• Forwards escalated concerns to the Order Entry Supervisor.
• Reviews and verifies customer and order information for correctness against known data.
• Assists departments in preparing and shipping orders to designated locations.
• Evaluates inventory records to determine medication availability.
• Reviews orders for completeness and forwards incomplete orders for processing.
• Answers calls and provides customer service solutions.
