GatesAir in Quincy, IL is seeking an order management professional to monitor and manage the sales order system, ensuring accurate receipt and booking of sales orders in line with division guidelines. You will track shipments, deliveries, billing, and backlog while keeping records up to date.

You will be the primary contact for order status inquiries, help resolve conflicts, send manual invoices ahead of booking or shipment, and process RMAs.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and manage the sales order system to ensure the accurate receipt and booking of sales orders in accordance with division guidelines.
• Track sales shipments, deliveries, billing, and backlog activities while maintaining up-to-date records in the system.
• Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding the status of orders, proactively assisting in resolving customer order conflicts or difficulties.
• Send manual invoices for payments due prior to booking or shipment to facilitate a seamless transaction process.
• Efficiently enter and process return material authorizations (RMA) following established guidelines and processes.
• Collaborate with the service team to provide urgently needed installation materials, ensuring smooth completion of installations.
• For major accounts, deliver regular summarized status reports to customers, which may involve dedicated conference calls.
• Handle international shipments in collaboration with the logistics team to ensure the timely provision of necessary documents for accurate commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Provide accurate and precise order status updates to senior management, enabling informed decision-making.
• Identify and report shortages to the planning and purchasing departments on a case-by-case basis.
