Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant (Oral Surgery) for Advanced Dental Specialists – Mayfair in Wauwatosa, WI. The role supports surgeons with four‑handed dentistry, takes X-rays, uses Dentrix, and helps maintain a safe, patient‑focused workflow.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, be punctual, provide excellent customer service, and work well in a fast-paced specialty office.

Competenze

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI with HIPAA training and data safeguards.

Mansioni

• Greet and welcome patients from the start and provide education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
