Beacon Oral Specialists in Honolulu, HI seeks a Surgical Assistant I to join our growing practice. You will assist surgeons, perform basic lab tasks, prep rooms, and ensure patient comfort while maintaining infection control standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, CPR/BLS, and a dental X-ray license; strong organization, communication, and a calm demeanor under pressure are essential. This is a full-time, on-site role with typical Monday–Friday scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Dental X-ray license (Pano, PA, CBCT) required.
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide excellent patient care, even under stressful circumstances.
• Consistent professionalism in appearance and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist Surgeon during consultations and treatment.
• Basic lab duties (Impressions, pouring up/trimming models).
• Proper instrument cleaning in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocols.
• Autoclave operation and function.
• Surgical tray set-up.
• Identification of instruments used in the clinic.
