Beacon Oral Specialists is seeking a Surgical Assistant I for our Falls Church area practice. The role supports surgeons during consultations and procedures, maintains sterile technique, and ensures patient comfort throughout the visit.

This on-site position offers hands-on training and opportunities to grow within the company. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, CPR/BLS certification, and a dental X-ray license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Dental X-ray license (Pano, PA, CBCT) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during consultations and treatment.
• Basic lab duties and model work.
• Infection control and instrument sterilization.
• Autoclave operation and tray setup.
• Room setup and breakdown for IV anesthesia/surgery.
• Pre-op setup and patient seating.
• Review charts and coordinate patient care.
• Nitrous oxide setup and airway support.
