Beacon Oral Specialists in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Surgical Assistant I to join our growing practice. You will assist the surgeon during consultations and procedures, perform basic lab duties, and help set up trays and room readiness while maintaining strict infection control and patient comfort.

The ideal candidate is well organized with excellent communication skills, CPR/BLS certified, and holds a dental X-ray license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Dental X-ray license (Pano, PA, CBCT) required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• Professionalism in appearance and attitude expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist Surgeon during consultations and treatment.
• Basic lab duties (Impressions, pouring up/trimming models).
• Set up surgical trays and rooms; autoclave operation.
• Assist with IV anesthesia support and patient positioning.
• Review charts and greet patients; ensure X-ray setup if needed.
• Restock supplies and handle administrative tasks.
