Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Oral Surgeon to join modern, fully digital clinics located on Army and Air Force bases. You will work with a supportive team, delivering a broad range of dentoalveolar procedures with autonomy and clinical responsibility.

Qualifications

• Must have a DDS/DMD from a U.S. dental program and completed OMFS residency or be eligible for certification.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license required with CPR/BLS certification.
• DEA license if sedation or prescribing medications is performed.
• Ability to pass background checks and obtain Real ID for base access.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions and alveoloplasty.
• Provide in-office sedation as credentialed and permitted by state license.
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe patient care.
• Document findings and treatment plans in digital charts; follow infection control protocols.
• Maintain high standards of care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Your Role As a Part-Time Oral Surgeon

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions (routine and surgical), alveoloplasty, and other dentoalveolar surgeries
• Provide in-office sedation (as credentialed and permitted by state license per office)
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts
• Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Maintain a high standard of care and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility
• Active, unrestricted state dental license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• DEA license (if performing sedation or prescribing medication)
• Ability to pass background screening, drug testing, and obtain Real ID for base access
