Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a pediatric ambulatory surgery center in Fort Myers, FL to recruit a PRN Oral Surgeon to join its professional care team. The role focuses on restorative and exodontia procedures in a fast-paced ASC environment for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia.

Schedule: PRN; No Call, Weekends or Holidays. You will work with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, RNs, RDAs, and other surgical staff to deliver safe, compassionate care and coordinate care

Qualifications

• Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• National Board certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ASC environment.
• Work alongside the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience.
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day.
• Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members.

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• National Board certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred.
