Job summary

The Staff Pad in Jackson, MS is partnering with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center to recruit a Part-Time Oral Surgeon to join its affiliated professional care team. The role focuses on restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia in a collaborative ASC setting.

• Licensed Oral Surgeon with state licensure.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• BLS certification; PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• National Board certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ASC environment.
• Work alongside the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience.
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day.
• Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, RNs, RDAs, and other team members.

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization to recruit a Part-Time Oral Surgeon to join its affiliated professional care team in Jackson, MS. The organization specializes in restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia, offering an opportunity to practice in a collaborative ASC environment focused on exceptional patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ASC environment
• Work alongside the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
• Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent PALS certification within 6 months of hire
• National Board certification strongly preferred
• Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred
