Job summary

Hero Practice Services is seeking an Oral Surgeon to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, instruct staff, and educate caregivers. The role reports to the VP of Clinical Services and is part-time across multiple locations in Washington DC, Landover MD, Baltimore MD.

The position offers compensation as 50% of net production. Board-eligible or certified with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is preferred, and Medicaid/NPI enrollment capabilities are

Qualifications

• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service for our patients by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs.
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures.
• Educate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on latest dental treatment techniques.
• Help kids and their caregivers to develop excellent habits in oral health.
• Participate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events and email communications.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Job description

This position will report to the Vice President of Clinical Services.

Locations: Washington DC; Landover, MD; Baltimore, MD

Pay range: 50% of net production
