Job summary

Hero Practice Services in Kansas City, Topeka, Wichita seeks a part-time Oral Surgeon to provide preventive and restorative care for children. You will instruct staff, educate caregivers, and report to the Vice President of Clinical Services.

Schedule: 3-4 days per month. Pay is 50% of net production. Must hold a state dental license and have strong interest in working with children.

Qualifications

• State dental license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire Medicaid/NPI numbers.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service for our patients by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs.
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures.
• Educate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on latest dental treatment techniques.
• Help kids and their caregivers to develop excellent habits in oral health.
• Participate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events and email communications.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Job description

Hero Practice Services is currently seeking an Oral Surgeon to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, instructing staff on how to assist in patient treatment and educating caregivers and patients regarding preventive practices. This position will report to the Vice President of Clinical Services.

Schedule: 3-4 days per month

Locations: Kansas City, Topeka, Wichita

Pay range: 50% of net production
