Job summary

Hero Practice Services is seeking an Oral Surgeon to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, and to educate caregivers and patients on preventive practices. You will instruct staff on assisting in treatment and report to the Vice President of Clinical Services. Schedule: 3-4 days per month.

Locations: Kansas City, Topeka, Wichita. Pay range: 50% of net production. Responsibilities include delivering high‑quality care, examining patients, educating families, and participating

Qualifications

• State dental license in good standing
• Strong interest in working with children
• Board-eligible or certified with American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service for our patients by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures
• Educate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on latest dental treatment techniques
• Help kids and their caregivers to develop excellent habits in oral health
• Participate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events and email communications
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
