Job summary

Hero Practice Services is seeking an Oral Surgeon to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children. The role includes instructing staff on assisting in treatment and educating caregivers and patients about prevention. The position reports to the Vice President of Clinical Services.

Locations include Washington DC; Landover, MD; Baltimore, MD, with a schedule of 3-4 days per month. Compensation is based on 50% of net production, reflecting performance and patient volume.

Hero Practice Services is currently seeking an Oral Surgeon to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, instructing staff on how to assist in patient treatment and educating caregivers and patients regarding preventive practices. This position will report to the Vice President of Clinical Services.

Schedule: 3-4 days per month

Locations: Washington DC; Landover, MD; Baltimore, MD

Pay range: 50% of net production

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service for our patients by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures
• Educate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on latest dental treatment techniques
• Help kids and their caregivers to develop excellent habits in oral health
• Participate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events and email communications
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• State dental license in good standing
• Strong interest in working with children
• Board-eligible or certified with American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time
