Job summary

Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support our Oral Pathology team. The role blends administrative and clinical duties to ensure smooth clinic workflow, from room setup to documenting biopsy results.

You will assist procedures, manage patient records, and communicate care plans with empathy. We offer competitive pay, benefits including health, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office setting.
• Dental office experience is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of GE-Centricity practice management software and EHR beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance, cleanliness and stock in examination and procedure rooms.
• Prepare rooms and instruments; assist with procedures.
• Take baseline vital signs and patient history.
• Explain biopsy results and next steps to patients with empathy.
• Assist physicians with biopsies and procedures; document details clearly.
• Greet patients and escort to clinical areas; manage EHR alerts.
• Handle patient calls, callbacks and prescriptions as directed by RN/MD.
