Orion Placement is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in Westerville, OH, for full-time, on-site work from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime. You will assist physicians with oral biopsies and laser procedures, prep rooms, and manage patient communication under clinical direction.

Requirements include Medical Assistant Certification, 1+ year medical office experience, CPR, sterile technique knowledge, and good computer skills.

Formación

• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting.
• Current CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control.
• Strong patient communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
• Dental office, oral pathology, or ENT experience preferred.
• GE Centricity experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians with oral biopsies, laser procedures, and other specialized treatments.
• Prepare examination rooms, surgical instruments, and procedure trays.
• Communicate with patients regarding procedures, biopsy results, and follow-up care under clinical direction.
• Take vital signs, document patient histories, and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Sterilize medical instruments and maintain proper infection control standards.
• Provide clear, compassionate instructions and support patients throughout their visits.
• Coordinate patient callbacks, prescription communications, and daily clinical workflows.
