Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a temporary Dental Surgical Assistant for its Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS). The successful candidate will provide direct, hands-on assistance during a wide range of procedures and work with faculty and resident surgeons.

Responsibilities include radiography, infection control, instrument preparation, and stock management. Occasional off-site work and overtime may be required to support patient care needs.

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience in dental office practices and procedures.
• BLS/CPR certification required; radiographer license required.
• Knowledge of multiple implant systems and dental and dental surgical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hands-on assistance in OMFS procedures.
• Perform dental radiography and infection control.
• Prepare and distribute instruments; stock supplies.
• Work off-site as scheduled and support outreach efforts.
