The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus invites applications for an Assistant Professor - Practice/Part Time in Endodontics. The position focuses on education, patient care, and clinical supervision of students in emergency cases and endodontic therapy.
Ideal candidates hold a DDS/DMD with CODA-endodontics and have teaching eligibility; prior academic teaching and advanced degrees are preferred. A competitive benefits package is offered.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to create an environment that promotes collegiality and collaboration among members of various education, research, service, and cultural communities. A willingness to serve as a role model and advocate for the ideals of professionalism and high ethical standards in a health science educational setting is essential. The job duties include supervising dental students evaluating and triaging emergency dental patients and making treatment plans for these patients. Supervising/helping dental students providing endodontic treatment to patients in the endodontic clinic.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in dental education and an MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree.
The budget for this position is up to $2,550.
