Job summary

University Health Partners of Hawai'i is seeking a Special Projects Health Tech (Oral Health) to support the coordination of oral health activities at UH Manoa, with travel to DOE and Charter schools. The role involves screenings, sealants, forms distribution, data collection, and referrals coordination.

Under supervision, you will assist with data entry, health education, and ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in a health-related field or equivalent job-related work experience.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification, or current BLS Certification.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordination of oral health activities including school-based oral screenings and sealant events.
  • Distribute consent forms for oral health activities.
  • Collect data and enter data for program activities.
  • Assist with care coordination of students needing dental referrals.
  • Provide health education as requested.
