Job summary

University Health Partners of Hawai'i seeks a Hawaii Keiki Health Technician to coordinate school health tasks, screen students, promote wellness, and handle data entry and surveillance. You will facilitate visits with a Nurse Practitioner and may cover health rooms per HIDOE protocol.

Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma or equivalent, health-related certification, CPR/First Aid or BLS, and clinical setting experience. Strong communication and HIPAA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and health-related certification.
• Current CPR/First Aid or BLS certification.
• Experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; knowledge of HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school-wide health screenings with partners.
• Promote health and wellness and collect data.
• Provide health coverage for students and health education.
• Facilitate virtual or in-person visits with a HK Nurse Practitioner.
• Follow HIDOE protocol when covering health rooms.
