Job summary

Accenture’s Oracle practice is seeking an experienced Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS) Meter Data Management System (MDMS) Functional Lead to join our enterprise technology team in the US. This role focuses on managing meter data operations within the Oracle CCS/MDMS platform, ensuring accurate processing to support billing, settlements, and regulatory compliance across our service territories.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years functional experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B or CCS in a US utility environment.
• Minimum of 3 years direct experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) – configuration, VEE rules, and CCS billing integration.
• Minimum of 1 year configuring VEE rules (validation algorithms, estimation, editing) within Oracle MDM.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional ownership, configuration, and continuous improvement of Oracle MDM/MDMS within the Oracle CCS ecosystem.
• Oversee end-to-end meter data flows including VEE rule configuration, interval data processing, scalar reads, and initial measurement creation.
• Define functional configurations for device types, measuring components, usage subscriptions, and service point hierarchies per US utility models.
• Manage design/config of AMI head-end integration for large-scale deployments.
• Ensure timely delivery of usage data to downstream Oracle CCS processes (billing, settlements).
• Collaborate with metering operations, IT, and regulatory teams to support meter-to-cash data flows.
• Lead fit/gap workshops, BR sessions, and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders across Metering, Engineering, Customer Ops, Regulatory, Finance.
• Develop and maintain FDDs, configuration workbooks, VEE docs, and business process flows.
• Define test strategies and lead SIT/UAT/regression testing for meter data scenarios.
