Job summary

Accenture's Oracle practice is seeking an experienced Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS) Meter Data Management System (MDMS) Functional Lead to join our enterprise technology team.

This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing Clients meter data operations within the Oracle CCS/MDMS platform, ensuring accurate and timely processing of meter data to support billing, settlements, regulatory compliance, and customer operations across our US service territories.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of functional experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B or CCS in a US utility environment.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) - configuration, VEE rules, and integration with CCS billing.
• Experience configuring VEE rules (validation, estimation, editing) within Oracle MDM.
• Experience supporting Utilities projects including AMI/smart metering, interval data, Green Button, and exposure to ISO markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional ownership, configuration, and continuous improvement of Oracle MDM/MDMS within the CCS ecosystem.
• Oversee end-to-end meter data flows including VEE rule configuration and interval data processing.
• Define and maintain functional configuration for device types, usage subscriptions, and service point hierarchies.
• Design and configure AMI head-end integration for large-scale deployments.
• Ensure timely delivery of usage data to downstream billing and settlements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support meter-to-cash data flows and data exchanges with external systems.
• Lead workshops, gather requirements, and produce FDDs, configuration workbooks, and process flows.
• Define test strategies and lead SIT/UAT/regression Testing; manage defects with vendors and internal teams.
• Act as escalation point for meter data issues impacting billing; stay compliant with US regulatory standards.
