Job summary

Accenture seeks an experienced Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS) Meter Data Management System (MDMS) Functional Lead to join our enterprise technology team. This role bridges Metering, Customer Operations, IT, and Regulatory teams to own end-to-end functional integrity of meter data management from collection through consumption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of functional experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B or CCS in a US utility environment
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) – configuration, VEE rules, integration with CCS billing
• 1+ year configuring VEE rules (validation, estimation, editing) within Oracle MDM
• 1+ year experience on Utilities projects (AMI/smart metering, interval data, Green Button, ERCOT/PJM/ISO-NE/NYISO/MISO)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12+ years work exp)

Responsibilities

• Lead functional ownership, configuration, and continuous improvement of Oracle Utilities MDM/MDMS within the CCS ecosystem
• Oversee end-to-end meter data flows including VEE rule configuration and initial measurement creation
• Define and maintain functional configuration for device types, measuring components, and service point hierarchies
• Manage AMI head-end integration for large-scale smart meter deployments
• Ensure timely delivery of usage data to downstream billing, settlements, and market processes
• Collaborate with metering ops, field services and IT to support meter-to-cash data flows
• Lead fit/gap workshops, BR sessions, and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders across Metering, Engineering, Customer Ops, Regulatory, Finance
• Develop and maintain FDDs, configuration workbooks, VEE docs, and business process flows
• Define test strategies and lead SIT/UAT/regression testing for meter data scenarios
• Act as escalation point for production meter data issues (VEE failures, missing reads)
• Monitor regulatory compliance (FERC, state PUC, ANSI C12) for meter data accuracy and retention
• Stay current with industry trends (Green Button, NAESB, AMI 2.0, data access regs) and assess impacts
• Mentor junior analysts; lead knowledge transfer and documentation in the domain
