Job summary

Accenture’s Oracle practice seeks an experienced Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS) MDMS Functional Lead to join our enterprise technology team in the US. You will own the end-to-end functional integrity of meter data management from collection through consumption, coordinating across metering, operations, IT, and regulatory teams.

You will lead workshops, define design documents, test strategies, and mentor junior analysts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of functional experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B or CCS in a US utility environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct, hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) - configuration, VEE rules, and integration with Oracle CCS billing.
• Minimum of 1 year configuring VEE rules (validation, estimation, editing) within Oracle MDM.
• Experience with AMI/smart metering, interval data, TOU rates, and related standards.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong regulatory/industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional ownership, configuration, and continuous improvement of Oracle MDM within Oracle CCS ecosystem.
• Oversee end-to-end meter data flows including VEE, interval data processing, and measurement creation.
• Define functional config for device types, usage subscriptions, and service point hierarchies.
• Manage AMI head-end integration for large-scale deployments across service territory.
• Ensure timely delivery of usage data to downstream billing and settlement processes.
• Partner with metering ops, field services, and IT for meter-to-cash data flows.
• Collaborate with integration architects on data exchange with external systems.
• Lead fit/gap workshops, BR sessions, and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain FDDs, configuration workbooks, VEE docs, and business flows.
• Define test strategies and lead SIT/UAT/regression testing; manage defects.
• Act as escalation point for meter data issues impacting billing.
• Monitor compliance with US regulatory/market requirements for meter data.
• Stay updated on industry trends and assess impacts on MDM configuration.
