Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Oracle Director to lead advisory and implementation projects across client organizations within the Transformation Practice. You’ll work with a broader Transformation team to help clients achieve their vision and deliver results.

Responsibilities include directing full life cycle Oracle implementations, documenting requirements, designing solutions, and coaching teams. Travel up to 40% may be required; strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, HR, IT, MIS or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of related consulting experience serving cross-industry clients at a national level.
• Minimum of 10 full lifecycle Oracle implementations.
• Industry certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, metrics and reports.
• Experience with integration and backend data connectivity.
• Experience installing/configuring Oracle Applications.
• Exposure or training on Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Ability to deliver complex, time-sensitive projects; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design and build phases.
• Document business requirements, system design and transformational goals.
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
• Create training materials and quick reference guides for user adoption.
• Conduct end-user training for deployment.
• Provide post-production support.
• Participate in full life cycle implementations.
• Identify business requirements, design processes, prototype and test.
• Communicate with senior audiences and persuade when needed.
• Develop business cases to support strategic IT transformations.
