Job summary

Grant Thornton seeks an Oracle Director to lead advisory and implementation services across client organizations within the Transformation Practice. You’ll collaborate with a national team to deliver full life cycle Oracle-based transformations, driving business cases and executive communications.

From day one, you’ll be empowered by a strong Transformation team to help clients realize strategic goals while developing staff and advancing practice offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Information Technology, MIS, or related field required, Master’s degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level.
• Minimum of 10 full life cycle implementations of Oracle
• Industry recognized professional certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases
• Document business requirements, system design and transformational goals
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing
• Create training materials and guides for user adoption
• Conduct training classes for deployment readiness
• Provide post-production support
• Identify business requirements, design processes, prototyping, testing, and training
• Communicate effectively to senior audiences and deliver difficult messages
• Drive development of business cases to support initiatives
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours; coach and develop team members
