Job summary

Grant Thornton, based in the United States, seeks an experienced Oracle Director for advisory and implementation in the Transformation Practice. You will guide full life cycle Oracle projects, document requirements, design solutions, train users, and provide post-production support across client engagements—from planning to deployment and beyond.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
10+ years in a national-level cross-industry consulting role.
Minimum of 10 full life cycle Oracle implementations.
Industry-recognized certification required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of SDLC, metrics and reporting.
Experience with integration and back-end data connectivity.
Experience installing/configuring Oracle Applications.
Exposure to Oracle Cloud Applications or knowledge of Cloud.
Proven ability to deliver complex, time-sensitive projects.
Strong leadership; able to conduct meetings and write technical docs.
Ability to map current to future state processes with business objectives.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, and build phases.
Document business requirements, system design, and transformational goals.
Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
Create training materials and quick reference guides for user adoption.
Conduct training classes for deployment.
Provide post-production support.
Participate in full life cycle implementations.
Identify business requirements, functional design, and process design including prototyping and testing.
Communicate effectively to senior audiences and deliver difficult messages persuasively.
Drive business-case development to support strategic initiatives or IT transformations.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours and utilization.
Coach and develop team members; demonstrate executive presence.
Contribute to service offerings and practice thought leadership.
Handle other duties as assigned.
